Stay A Wiles Farm

Stay A Wiles Farm started with the very best of the best ivory and dark wooly donkeys by traveling around the country to different farms and hand-picking our herd. Our donkeys have excellent, stocky conformations, pretty heads, great bites, and sweet temperaments. Our primary goal is to create top quality, small, stocky, super wooly donkeys in ivory, black, red, dark brown, and spots. We are also working to diversify the pedigrees of wooly and ivory donkeys.

There are approximately 300 wooly donkeys and only about 100 ivory donkeys registered out of around 60,000 miniature donkeys! They are both truly exotic and rare. Our ultimate goal is to create the first wooly ivory donkeys. Both the ivorys and woollies have gotten a lot of attention and interest lately. We maintain a notification list if you are interested in getting one of our donkeys. We also sell and ship our donkeys internationally and are happy to help assist you in arranging international transportation. We are also happy to help you find additional donkeys if we do not have what you are looking for currently.

Wooly Donkeys

Our wooly program focuses on donkeys of all colors. We have a soft spot for the spots. We currently have two wooly jacks standing at stud. Our spotted wooly jack is MGF Gorky Park. He is built like a tank at 31" and is extremely wooly. His hair is almost 6 inches long in the winter and he keeps the hair in the summer too. We also stand Arrow Creek Tracer, a true black no light points wooly jack with a full pedigree that differs from other black woolies out there. We love the size, builds, temperments, bites, and of course all the hair on our boys. You can see them on our Jacks page.

We put as much effort into picking our girls as our jacks so that all of them are capable of producing breeding-quality jacks. They all have very wooly backgrounds and are capable of producing extreme wool. We are sticklers for good bites too. We have lots of jennets with pedigrees that stray from the common wooly donkey pedigrees. Our wooly girls range in size from 30.5" to 33.5". They can be seen on our Jennets page.

Blue Eyed White Donkeys (Ivory)

Our ivory program focuses on stockier well built ivory and ivory carrier donkeys with wooly, black, brown, and red backgrounds. We are concentrating on crossing the ivorys with the woolies with the intent of creating ivory wooly donkeys in time. We do occasionally have ivory and ivory carrier foals for sale too. Location

Our farm is situated in the picturesque Appalachian Mountains of Virginia and surrounded by thousands of acres of National Forest. We are about 45 minutes off of I-81 north of Roanoke, Virginia.
