Horses

Tumbleweed

Tumbleweed

19 year old pinto gelding

He is 99% retired these days. Tumbleweed used to be my lead horse back in the days of working as a Wrangler . I fell in love with him back then so I paid the boss and took him home.

Stormy

Stormy

7 year old Standardbred x Paint gelding

He was my first foal. His mom now lives just down the road. Stormy is a real sweetheart... like a donkey.

Go Boys Sky Dancer

6 year old Spotted Saddle Horse

My newest addition and an amazing trail horse with lots of bling. He is fun to ride for sure.

Aris

Silver

7 year old Tennessee Walking Horse mare

Silver is Brad's trail mount. She is also a very good trail horse and the boss mare in the field.

Goats
Lucky

Lucky

9 year old Nubian x Boer wether

Lucky is Ruby's son and Boo's twin brother. He is named Lucky because most buck kids landed on someone's dinner plate, but since I was goat-sitting Ruby when she had him he got to be a pet...Lucky boy.

Peek-A-Boo

Peek-A-Boo

9 year old Nubian x Boer doe

Boo is Ruby's daughter and Lucky's twin sister. I was so excited when she was born because I just love black goats.

BK

BK

15 year old Boer doe

BK stands for Black Knees. She came from Tara's mom's farm with Ruby and Sophie. She had problems concieving throughout her life but always really wanted a baby of her own. BK was so delighted when she was able to have Sophie. She now enjoys her retirement here.

Sophie

Sophie

6 year old Boer cross doe

Sophie is BK's miracle child. She still follows mom everywhere she goes. She has been exposed for March 2010 kids.

More Donkeys
Luigi

Luigi

11 year old 34.5" gray NLP unregistered gelding

Luigi was our first donkey. He was a rescue. Apparently the people that originally had him were going to shoot him because he kept attacking them. He is still very grouchy, but also very affectionate. He just loves petting and toys. Luigi was a bottle baby and does not believe he is a donkey. Just ask him and he will happily tell you just how human he really is. He is the talker around the farm. Hee Haw!

Dogs

Evrei

6 year old Pembroke Welsh Corgi

Also known as Stumpy, he enjoys the good life on the farm, and loves a game of fetch.

Tripod

Tripod

14 year old ? three legged Australian Cattle Dog

Tripod adopted us this past fall after following us home on a trail ride last summer. He kept coming back. Eventually, we told his owners they didn't have to come get him anymore if they didn't want to...they didn't.

Furball Acres Precious and Few (aka Chubba)

11 month old Newfoundland

A wonderful donkey friend and breeder of beautiful Newfies let us take Chubba home as our new family member. She is a very sweet and gentle giant. Thank you so much Connie!!!

.

Cats
Toey

Toeser

7 year old Polydactyl

Toeser was a Kittus kitten and adopted with her. Toeser has lots of extra toes on all of his feet...even more than most polydactyls. I have been told this is good luck.

Slick

Slick

7 year old Tabby

Slick is Toeser's brother. He is named Slick because at 3 weeks of age he fell into a 5 gal bucket of used motor oil (it wasn't ours). After 5 hours of cleaning he started to look like a kitten again. He has chosen to be the official barn cat because he doesn't like the dogs.

Billy

Long haired Tabby

Recently adopted from Angels of Assisi. He is a very friendly and quite the talker.

Santoes and Grub

Polydactyl Tabby

and

Polydactyl Gray

Recently adopted from Angels of Assisi. These brothers are very affectionate, young, and playful.

Sarah

Calico Tabby

Recently adopted from Angels of Assisi. She is a special kitty with some health issues who finally found her forever home...what a sweet girl.
